Delivering Next Generation Data Centres

The Galileo Connect modular Data Centre concept is the result of a decade of study into the result of a decade of study into the architectural, engineering and operational issues involved in the provision and ongoing management of highly resilient data centres.  It has been thoroughly tested enabling them to offer a unique fully designed, fully specified product that provides both a significant degree of flexibility in its response to different client needs and sound future-proofing.

Scalable power supply, fibre availability, levels of resilience, adaptability, modularity, speed to market and of course cost and delivery certainly are paramount to the long-term success of these facilities.  Research into product design involving market-leading supply partners has resulted in being able to generate a standard parts list covering all building elements from mechanical and electrical components to structural steel to cladding, and raised floors to lighting.

Other Projects

In addition to those sites which have been secured we have also identified sites in South Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane and Auckland.  These sites are in various stages of negotiation and due diligence but will each accommodate a GC1 data pod anticipated to be available in late 2009.
